China has the largest Education System in the world. From the past many years, lots of Indian students are pursuing MBBS studies in China. China’s educational system divides MBBS course for 6 years, including the Internship in its last year. Each year consists of 2 semesters. English medium Universities, either government-owned or private, provides excellent education in China.
Indian students can pursue MBBS from any MCI and WHO Listed medical Universities in any foreign country. All the Medical students pursuing their education abroad should appear for the MCI screening test to practice as a Registered Medical Practitioner in India.
The biggest challenge for the foreign medical students is to clear the licensing exam conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) in India, also known as Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE). There is no bar on the number of attempts for taking up this exam. MCI exam is conducted twice every year, June and December. Clearing MCI screening test is the key to get the license to practice as a doctor in India. Minimum eligibility criteria to crack the MCI Screening test for any candidate is 50% marks.
