CATEGORY OF ADMISSION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor Degree Program 4 years in College of Tourism

Major: Tourism Management

Language requirements: English teaching program.

Non-native English speakers students should have an IELTS score of 6.5 or TOEFL score of 80 or the corresponding English level. Applicants shall have high school diploma.

Internship and career

This course offers an optional Internship in the industry in China or overseas. The college has an internship project cooperated with the University of California, Riverside, and can also provide opportunities to have an internship in OTAs (lazy cat travel, Ctrip Travel, etc.), theme parks (Disneyland, Chimelong Resort, etc.), and international luxury brand hotels (Waldorf Astoria Beijing, The Ritz-Carlton Shanghai Pudong, The Ritz-Carlton Guangzhou, Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen, The Sanya Edison Hotel, etc.) . Graduates can continue their studies, start their own business, or engage in Online Travel Agency operation and management, etc.

SCHOLARSHIP

For first academic year

① Hunan Normal University Scholarship

Scholarship coverage: 15,000 Yuan/year/person for new students during their first year of study.

②Accommodation fee will be waived for the first year (accommodation fee standard: 600 Yuan/person/month).

③ HSK rewards :  HSK 4 certificate holder will be rewarded 1,000 Yuan and HSK 5 certificate holder will be rewarded 2,000 Yuan when been admitted.

From the second academic year

① Hunan Province Scholarship for International Students

Scholarship coverage: 15,000 Yuan/person/academic year

Requirements: students who are well performed both academically and in other activities are qualified to apply.

The scholarship commences from the second academic year of their study.

② In-college part time jobs and study excellence awards are available.

ELIGIBILITY

All applicants shall be

1.Non-Chinese citizens

2.In good physical and mental condition, well performed both academically and behaviorally

3.Aspired to take future careers on tourism management and other related areas

4.Between the ages of 18-25 on September 1st, 2020.

APPLICATION DOCUMENTS

  1. A scanned copy of the passport photo page.
  2. Notarized highest diploma and official transcript. (The prospective diploma recipients shall submit official documents issued by your current school to prove your current student status and expected graduation date .The official diploma must be provided at registration).
  3. Foreigner physical examination form, which is uniformly printed by China’s quarantine authority and filled with English. Incomplete forms or forms without the signature of the attending physician, or the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicant are considered as invalid.
  4. Verification of no criminal record.
  5. Specific study or research plan.6.Applicants whose official language is not English, shall provide at least IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL with score of 85.
  6. Further documentation of the applicant’s academic ability and comprehensive quality can be submitted with the documents listed above.
