CATEGORY OF ADMISSION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor Degree Program 4 years in College of Information Science and Engineering

Major: Computer science and technology (Artificial Intelligence).

Language requirements: English teaching program. Non-native English speakers students should have an IELTS score of 6.5 or TOEFL score of 80 or the corresponding English level. Applicants shall have high school diploma.

Internship and employment: In order to improve the vocational skills of international students and cultivate high-quality professional talents, the college has established stable training bases with companies such as Huawei, Sany Heavy Industry, Whale Cloud Technology, China Unicom, and Chuangliang Technology. In order to ensure the quality of international students’ training, the college is equipped with an excellent team of teachers headed by professional leaders every year to track the entire process of training, ensure the quality of training, and provide more employment channels for international students.

SCHOLARSHIP

1.For first academic year:

①Hunan Normal University Scholarship

Scholarship coverage: 15,000 Yuan/year/person for new students during their first year of study.

②Accommodation fee will be waived for the first year (accommodation fee standard: 600 Yuan/person/month).

③HSK rewards : HSK 4 certificate holder will be rewarded 1,000 Yuan and HSK 5 certificate holder will be rewarded 2,000 Yuan when been admitted.

2.From the second academic year:

①Hunan Province Scholarship for International Students

Scholarship coverage: 15,000 Yuan/person/academic year

Requirements: Students who perform well both academically and in other activities are qualified to apply. The scholarship commences from the second academic year of their study.

②College Assistant jobs (scientific assistant, laboratory assistant, etc.)

Salary: 1000-1500Yuan/person/month

Requirements: Students who have student union’ experience in high school, conscientious and responsible, and excellent academic performance may apply.

ELIGIBILITY

All applicants should

1.Non-Chinese citizens

2.In good physical and mental condition, well performed both academically and behaviorally

3.Aspired to take future careers on computer science and technology and other related areas

4.Between the ages of 18-25 on September 1st, 2020.

APPLICATION DOCUMENTS

  1. A scanned copy of the passport photo page.
  2. Notarized highest diploma and official transcript. (The prospective diploma recipients shall submit official documents issued by your current school to prove your current student status and expected graduation date .The official diploma must be provided at registration).
  3. Foreigner physical examination form, which is uniformly printed by China’s quarantine authority and filled with English. Incomplete forms or forms without the signature of the attending physician, or the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicant are considered as invalid.
  4. Verification of no criminal record. 
  5. Specific study or research plan.
  6. Applicants whose official language is not English, shall provide at least IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL with score of 80.
  7. Further documentation of the applicant’s academic ability and comprehensive quality can be submitted with the documents listed above.
