ALL ABOUT HSK TEST

We all are aware of the fact that Chinese language is the most popular and widely spoken language in the world, with over one billion speakers. In the near future it will be necessary to learn Chinese language as a matter of necessity to communicate effectively.
Here Ceeco comes up with a venture, which is the Kerala’s first certified HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) / Chinese Proficiency Training & Test Centre to educate and spread the significance of Chinese language in India.
The HSK program will help out people from various categories like students migrating for professional studies, businessmen, people travelling to China, IT/Medical/Management/Engineering professionals, people involving import & export activities etc..

What really HSK means?

HSK is short for “Hànyǔ Shuǐpíng Kǎoshì” which means “Chinese Proficiency Test” or “Chinese Standard Exam”. HSK is China’s only standardized test administered by Hanban, a non government organization affiliated with the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China.

HSK aims in certifying Chinese language proficiency for higher education and professional purposes.

Testing Purposes

1. A reference for an educational institution’s decision-making concerning recruiting students, assigning students to different classes, allowing students to skip certain courses and granting students academic credits.
2. A reference for employers’ decision-making concerning the recruitment, training and promotion of test takers.
3. A method for Chinese language learners to assess and improve their proficiency in Chinese.
4. A method for Chinese language training institutions to evaluate training results.

Other Chinese Proficiency Tests

Youth Chinese Test (YCT), aims in certifying Chinese language proficiency for primary and middle school students’ abilities to use Chinese as second language in their daily and academic lives.
Business Chinese Test (BCT), aims in certifying Chinese language proficiency for non-native Chinese speakers’ abilities to use the Chinese language in real business or common working environments.
HSK Speaking Test (HSKK) assesses the test takers’ oral Chinese abilities and is conducted in the form of audio recording.
